What we provide

Automated, machine-generated information about patents, academic publications, SEC filings and IP-related news that may relate to a product description you provide. Risk grades are AI-generated estimates.

What this is not

This is not legal advice. Risk grades, summaries and recommendations are not a substitute for review by a registered patent attorney. Decisions that may carry significant business or legal risk should not be based solely on PriorPatrol output.

Acceptable use

You may use the service for monitoring your own products, your employer's products, or products you're authorized to monitor. Do not use the service to harass, dox, or otherwise target individuals; do not scrape or resell our reports.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, PriorPatrol is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service — including missed alerts, false positives, or any business decisions made based on a report.

Cancellation

Cancel at any time from settings. Historical reports remain accessible for 90 days after cancellation, then are permanently deleted.

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we'll notify active accounts by email before the change takes effect.
